Trying to get "the word out" is a very arduous process. Trying to "promote" one's work in the "marketplace of ideas" is even more arduous given that we all are in a global economic crisis. As we are deep into a major discovery that is very complex and requires our full attention, yet we want to share what we have in the open source way of "release early, release often" we are adopting the principles of Open Source and Contributionism in sharing our work.
Bret and myself had some conversations recently about what our philosophy of our "stuff" is all about. It would be really great if people who are really excited about our work could support us if we "sold" what we are working on. There was a time that I think that might have been possible, but looking around, it seems that many folks are in "mortal combat" with the monetary system which is failing everybody in terms of basic provisioning and security.
We are really committed personally to supporting the liberating concept of Contributionism as expressed well by Michael Tellinger and the UBUNTU party of South Africa.

As these are uncertain times, there may be a need to participate in the "normal" way of exchange in the future, but for now we are wanting to "pay it forward" and learn what we think is a harbinger of what will be a new way of humanity to interact economically. Someday, hopefully soon, we will all co-create a system that does not manufacture scarcity, that is holarchic rather than hierarchic, that doesn't think of "budget" but learns how to provision each and every human need with dignity.
